Dear Basilisk Community,

We hereby submit this proposal for funding support to cover the operation and maintenance costs of the Subscan Explorer services for Basilisk during Q1 2025.

As noted previously, our earlier proposal (covering Q4 2024 and Q1 2025) was successfully approved by the community. However, due to execution issues on-chain, the funds were never received. To address this, we are submitting separate proposals for each quarter: one for Q4 2024 (already resubmitted), and this proposal specifically for Q1 2025.

Service Details

Subscan has been diligently providing the following essential services for Basilisk:

Computing Resources: Collecting and parsing chain data, and serving web user requests to ensure smooth network operations.
Database Storage: Indexing and storing chain data for seamless data retrieval and accessibility.
Network Egress Bandwidth: Maintaining optimal network performance to cater to web user requests.
Monitoring and DevOps: Implementing an internal alerting pipeline and automation for stable network operations.
Node Status Monitoring and Notification: Promptly notify the network development team of any issues.
Technical Support: Offering comprehensive technical assistance for the networks' uninterrupted functioning.

Summary of Current Charges

Following the cooperation contract and agreement signed by both parties, the details of the fees are as follows.

Subscan Maintenance Packages offers tiered pricing based on actual usage of data services:

Basic: Up to 200 GB at $799/month; beyond 200 GB at $5.3/GB; upgrades automatically to the next plan after 350 GB.
Advanced: Up to 500 GB at $1,699/month; beyond 500 GB at $5.2/GB; upgrades automatically after 750 GB.
Professional: Up to 1 TB at $2,999/month; beyond 1 TB at $5/GB.

Network usage (Calculated based on the median of each quarter)

We kindly request funding support from the Basilisk Treasury to cover the total amount due of US $3,758.6241, and the amount of BSX will be converted based on the EMA7 price.

We are asking for money to keep the Subscan Explorer services for Basilisk running in Q1 2025. We had a plan to get money for Q4 2024 and Q1 2025, but there was a problem and we didn't get the money. So, we are asking for money for Q1 2025 separately.

Subscan helps Basilisk by:

Collecting and reading chain data
Storing chain data
Keeping the network working well
Fixing any problems
Giving technical support

We need to pay for different levels of service:

Basic: Up to 200 GB for $799/month
Advanced: Up to 500 GB for $1,699/month
Professional: Up to 1 TB for $2,999/month

We need $3,758.6241 to keep everything running. We will change this amount into BSX based on the price.
